Support for OA publishing

Authors from TUL can publish free of charge with Elsevier, Emerald, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and Wiley. Publication fees (APC - Article processing charges) are paid using tokens.

Terms of use

1) The token will only be allotted for the publication of an original article that results from research funded exclusively from the TUL budget. An article that is even partially funded from an external source, such as a scientific research project budget, does not meet the conditions for allocating a token.
2) Research articles will be submitted under the TUL affiliation to https://publikace.tul.cz/.
3) The primary or corresponding author must be from the Technical University of Liberec, with the TUL affiliation indicated.
4) Use your TUL email address when communicating with the publisher.
5) Include your ORCID with the TUL affiliation.
6) Approval is on a FIFO basis (first in, first out). Ensure that tokens are available.

Elsevier

Free publication is available in 1,640 hybrid journals.

Emerald Publishing

Free publication is available in 64 journals from the Engineering, Computing and Technology collection.

Approval takes place directly between the author and the publisher. The publication process is available at https://www.czechelib.cz/cs/425-emerald.

SAGE Publishing

You can publish for free in 387 hybrid journals from the STM collection.

For purely Open Access journals (labeled as Pure Gold Open Access), a 20% discount can be applied.

Springer Nature
