How many books can I borrow?

A maximum of 20 items can be borrowed at any one time.

For how long can I borrow documents?

Textbooks for 2 months (60 days), books for 1 month (30 days), TUL employees can borrow books for 2 months.
Magazines and games can be borrowed for up to a week (7 days), the latest issue of the magazine is always available only as in-house loan.
Non-book documents such as CDs, DVDs, etc. have a borrowing period of 2 weeks (14 days).
The same period applies to eBook readers.
All loans can be extended twice (unless the information source is reserved by another user).

How can I extend the loan?

Click on the Catalogue on the main page. Once on the catalogue page, Login in the upper right-hand corner. After login, click on My Account and Loans then Renew all. Alternatively click on the Renew by... days next to individual loans.

How long does it take to fetch the requested book from the deposit?

5-10 minutes (depending on the number of requests). If the material has been reserved in advance via the catalogue, this will be waiting for you at the circulation desk.

Do I have to renew my registration every year?


What does the red stripe on the book mean?

The red stripe means that the book is an in-house loan (you can study it only in library).

Can I remove my thesis from the library?

According to director's decision, theses cannot be released.
